Youniq vs Momence: which fits a studio?

Studio management software versus a wellness events marketplace.

Facts checked on September 30, 2026 against momence.com/pricing and youniq.com/subscribe.

Momence runs a studio’s operations: memberships, staff, billing, a branded app. Youniq is where new people find your classes, events and retreats and book them. A studio on memberships keeps Momence and lists on Youniq for discovery. A solo teacher or event host usually needs only Youniq.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Momence if

  • You sell memberships or recurring subscriptions and need automated billing for them.
  • You run a team and want payroll, staff scheduling and client CRM in one system.
  • You want a branded app of your own for existing clients.
  • You sell on-demand video alongside in-person classes.

Choose Youniq if

  • You want new people to find you. Youniq is a consumer app with a map, search and categories, not a back office.
  • You host events, workshops, ceremonies or retreats rather than a membership schedule.
  • You want published prices and no contract. Listing is free; paid plans start at $34 a month and can be cancelled any time.
  • You want your payout to be the full listed price, with the small service fee added at checkout and paid by the guest.

Can I use Momence and Youniq together?

Yes, and this is the common setup for a studio. Keep Momence for memberships and staff. Put your drop-in classes, workshops and retreats on Youniq, or embed the Youniq booking widget on your site, so people who do not know you yet can find and book you. Bookings made on Youniq pay out to your own Stripe account.

Questions people ask

Is Youniq a replacement for Momence?

Not for a membership studio. Momence is management software: memberships, billing, staff, a branded app. Youniq is a discovery and booking marketplace for wellness events with lighter organizer tools: schedules, class packs, discount codes, a site and a widget. Many studios use both.

How much does Momence cost compared with Youniq?

Momence does not publish prices; it quotes after a demo and offers a free trial. Youniq publishes every price: a free Listed plan, then $34, $144, $233 and $377 a month, with yearly billing at ten months for twelve. Checked 2026-09-30.

Does Youniq handle memberships?

No. Youniq sells single bookings and class packs of any size with their own validity. If your income is monthly memberships, keep a management system for that part.

Who pays the fees on Youniq?

The guest, at checkout. A service fee of 5% on the free plan, down to 1% on Pro and Premium, plus card processing at Stripe’s rate. Your payout is the full price you listed. Retreats are the exception: guests pay the listed price and a commission comes from the organizer side.

Can I use Momence and Youniq together?

Yes. Keep Momence for memberships and staff and list your public classes, workshops and retreats on Youniq so new people can find them. There is no integration between the two, so a shared class needs its spots managed in one place.
